Evgeny Khukhro is visiting University of Brasilia

Evgeny Khukhro visits University of Brasilia as a Special Visiting Researcher, for joint research with Prof. Pavel Shumyatsky. This collaboration is supported by CNPq-Brazil grant within the Brazilian Scientific Mobility Program “Ciências sem Fronteiras”. Preparation of the new paper “Almost Engel compact groups” is under way. On Thursday 29 September E. Khukhro will give a talk at a seminar of Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of  University of Sao Paulo. On 7 October a public lecture about George Boole is planned at a seminar of University of Brasilia.
