Algebra seminar by Chris Parker

On Wednesday the 6th of November, Chris Parker (University of Birmingham) will be visiting the Charlotte Scott Centre for Algebra and giving a talk at 3pm in INB3305. The details of his talk are as follows:

Title: Calculating all possible conjugacy on p-groups.

Abstract: In this talk, for a prime p,  I will discuss conjugacy of p-subgroups within a Sylow p-subgroup of a finite group. I will then describe how given a p-group S, how  all possible such conjugacy might be calculated without knowing the group G.
