Algebraic conference in Lincoln

The conference “Counting Problems in Groups” was held at Charlotte Scott Algebra Centre of  University of Lincoln on 30th August 2023. The conference was supported by a grant of the London Mathematical Society under the “Celebrating New Appointments” scheme, secured by Paula Macedo Lins de Araujo.  The speakers were Dr Paula Macedo Lins de Araujo (University of Lincoln), Dr Angela Carnevale (University of Galway), and  Prof. Laura Ciobanu (Heriot-Watt University). The participants showed great interest in the talks and also had lively discussions of research topics during the coffee break and at the conference dinner.
