International algebraic conference on permutation groups to be held at the University of Lincoln in December 2023

On 15th December 2023 the University of Lincoln will host an international conference on permutation groups, organised by Dr Simon Smith at the University of Lincoln, Dr Nadia Mazza at the University of Lancaster and Prof Dawid Kielak at the University of Oxford.

The speakers will be:

• Dr Melissa Lee (Monash University, Australia)  

• Dr Scott Harper (University of St Andrews, UK)  

• Dr Colin Reid (WWU Münster, Germany)

Simon Smith, Nadia Mazza and Dawid Kielak are part of a Joint Research Group called Functor Categories for Groups, funded by a London Mathematical Society Scheme 3 grant. This conference is to be one of three organised by the joint research group in 2023-2024. This conference in Lincoln is also supported by the EPSRC grant of Simon Smith.
