Grant of the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP)

Lincoln algebraist Dr Paula Macedo Lins de Araujo jointly with Dr Thaís Fernanda Mendes Monis (São Paulo State University) and the student Gabriel Cassimiro Pereira (São Paulo State University), have successfully secured an international research bursary.

This bursary will support a one-month visit of Gabriel to the Charlotte Scott Centre for Algebra at Lincoln to conduct a research project in Geometric Group Theory under Paula’s supervision.
