Dr Florian Lehner, pointing to one of his “scaffolding graphs”

Dr Florian Lehner from the University of Auckland visited the Charlotte Scott Centre at the University of Lincoln this week (24th-28th June 2024). He was visiting to collaborate with Dr Simon Smith on several projects related to Dr Smith’s EPSRC grant. Florian is an expert on infinite graph theory – he and Simon share a common interest in the interaction between group theory and graph theory. His trip was funded by Simon’s EPSRC grant.

Dr Lehner also gave a wonderful seminar where he spoke about self-avoiding walks on graphs with infinite many ends.
