Symbolic Enumeration in Algebra (SEA): Second Meeting in Galway

On Monday, May 19, 2025, the second meeting of the Symbolic Enumeration in Algebra (SEA) seminar series took place at the University of Galway.

This session featured invited speaker Robert Osburn (University College Dublin), who gave engaging lectures on Knots and modular forms, including recent joint work with Matthias Storzer (UCD) on arborescent links and modular forms. The talks were accompanied by lively discussions and informal exchanges over coffee, drinks, and food.

One of the Lincoln algebraists Paula Lins (University of Lincoln) is one of the organisers of the SEA seminar series, alongside Angela Carnevale (University of Galway), Joshua Maglione (University of Galway), Tobias Rossmann (University of Galway), and Christopher Voll (Bielefeld University).

With great talks, good coffee, and lively conversations, the second SEA meeting was a success! Looking forward to the next one.
