Visit of Dr. Thillaisundaram to the UK

We are delighted to announce that Dr Thillaisundaram (Lund University) will be visiting the UK in spring 2026, giving talks at:

• University of Lincoln – 29 April
• University of Cambridge – 1 May
• University of Bristol – 5 May

Her research focuses on branch groups and pro-p groups, with significant contributions to the study of maximal subgroups, invariable generation, and Beauville surfaces.

This visit is supported by a grant from the London Mathematical Society, awarded to Anitha Thillaisundaram and the Lincoln algebraist Paula Lins to fund this exciting collaboration.
