Sandro Mattarei joined the School of Mathematics and Physics in the College of Science of the University of Lincoln, UK, as a Lecturer.
He graduated from the University of Trento in 1988, and obtained his PhD in 1992 from the University of Warwick.
He then worked as a lecturer at the University of Padova (Italy) from 1994 to 1998, and as an associate professor at the University of Trento (Italy) from 1998 to 2015.
Sandro’s research interests include group theory (finite and profinite groups and (pro-) p-groups), Lie rings and algebras, finite fields, number theory.
