International conference “Group Theory Ischia–2018”

Evgeny Khukhro was an invited speaker at the conference “Ischia Group Theory–2018″ (Ischia, Italy, 19–24 March). He gave a plenary talk Almost Engel compact groups on 23 March. This biennial conference is an influential forum of specialists in group theory attracting leading specialists from all over the world. Evgeny had several meetings discussing research topics of mutual interest, grant applications, future collaboration with colleagues in Austria, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Russia, USA, as well as discussed experience in undergraduate and post-graduate teaching of mathematics.
