Continued research collaboration of algebraists of Lincoln and Brasilia

Evgeny Khukhro is visiting University of Brasilia for research collaboration with Pavel Shumyatsky on questions ranging from length parameters of finite groups to profinite and compact groups satisfying certain generalizations of Engel condition. His visit is fully funded by a 9,000 BRL grant of CNPq-Brazil. Other researchers involved in this collaboration include Cristina Acciarri (Brasilia) and Gunnar Traustason (Bath, UK).
