Sandro Mattarei’s talk at the British Mathematical Colloquium 2019

Sandro Mattarei gave the opening talk in the Algebra session of the British Mathematical Colloquium 2019, which took place from 8th to 11th April in Lancaster. Sandro spoke about Exponentials and logarithms in prime characteristic.

As usual, quite a bit of attention was drawn by Sandro’s unicycle, but hopefully not enough to detract attention from his talk.

The BMC is the largest pure mathematics conference taking place annually in the UK and is a great opportunity to get exposed to ideas outside one’s field of specialization.
