Research collaboration with International Mathematics Centre in Novosibirsk, Russia

In August 2019 Evgeny Khukhro visited Sobolev Institute of Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Novosibirsk, Russia, and Novosibirsk University. He took part in the Mal’cev Meeting-2019 and had several discussions concerning collaboration on algebraic research, editorial work in the international Journal of Algebra and Journal of Group Theory, as well as the serial Kourovka Notebook (Unsolved Problems in Group Theory). By a recent decision of the Russian government, an International Mathematics Research Centre will be created in Novosibirsk, based on Sobolev Institute of Mathematics and Novosibirsk University and supported by a grant of 240,000,000 roubles (=ca.£3,000,000). Evgeny Khukhro is going to be one of the international experts affiliated with this centre.
