Virtual Meeting at the University of Lincoln

On Friday the 4th of September 2020, the University of Lincoln hosted an online one-day conference on linear groups. This event is part of the Functor Categories for Groups Joint Research Group meetings, supported by a London Mathematical Society Scheme 3 Grant.

Our speakers were Jack Button (University of Cambridge), Agnieszka Bier (Silesian University of Technology) and Sandro Mattarei (University of Lincoln). There was a good interaction between the participants, despite the fact that the meeting took place online.

The next Functor Categories for Groups meeting will take place at the Lancaster University in January 2021. More details to be found soon at https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/maths/fcg
