On May 14th 2026 Simon Smith gave a talk at the Algebra and Representation theory seminar in the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics at the University of Cambridge. His talk was on the theory of local action diagrams and some extensions, and was titled Groups acting on trees – a new perspective.
