Two London Mathematical Society Research Grants

Anitha Thillaisundaram successfully secured a London Mathematical Society Scheme 2 Visits to the UK Grant and a London Mathematical Society Scheme 4 Research in Pairs Grant. The Scheme 2 grant is to invite Rachel Skipper (Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and École normale supérieure de Lyon) to visit the Universities of St Andrews, Oxford and Lincoln in June 2019. She will be giving talks at all three universities, and collaborating with various mathematicians at all these universities. The Scheme 4 grant is for Dominik Francoeur (University of Geneva) to visit the University of Lincoln in June 2019 to collaborate with Anitha on maximal subgroups of branch groups.
