One day conference on “Groups acting on trees” to take place at the University of Lincoln on 9th December 2022

A one day conference will take place at the University of Lincoln on Friday 9th December (as an online/in-person hybrid meeting). The theme will be: “Groups acting on trees”, and the speakers will be Alejandra Garrido ( Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and ICMAT, Spain) and Waltraud Lederle (UCLouvain, Belgium). There will also be a third speaker, TBA. The local organiser is Simon Smith.

The one day conference is supported by a grant of the London Mathematical Society for the Joint Research Group “Functor categories for groups”. This is a joint research group between the University of Lincoln, University of Lancaster, Royal Holloway University of London and University of Cambridge.
